An 8.5 million [pounds sterling] CCTV project, claimed to be Britain's largest and most complex digital colour CCTV system, has been launched in Newcastle-upon-Tyne for continuous monitoring and recording at Tyne & Wear Metro and bus stations. It includes CCTV cameras at all 58 Metro stations.
