MONTREAL -- NHC/MuxLab has introduced its newest VideoEase CCTV-AV Hub for the baseband audio-video and CCTV cabling environments.
The CCTV-AV Hub enables one audio-video or CCTV source be distributed to up to eight destinations via Cat 5 twisted pair.
The CCTV-AV Hub's applications include distributing the CCTV output from a multiplexer to several monitoring stations located around a building as well as to additional recording or processing devices via pre-existing Cat 5 twisted pair; or distributing a CCTV output to multiple viewing locations via twisted pair.
Working in conjunction with NHC's range of CCTV and audio-video baluns, the CCTV-AV acts as a splitter and gain equalizer to provide consistent signal quality to each output of the hub. The hubs can be cascaded with each other to allow a single source to be distributed to up to 64 stations. The connections are established via RJ45 8-pin modular connectors and an extra looping output port provides a link to other hubs.
